Kevin M Connolly
Kevin Connolly is an owner of the firm, Capital Investigations Group with deep roots in the Capital District area of New York. After a long and distinguished career in law enforcement, he opened Armstrong Investigation and Consulting Services, LLC with a focus on criminal defense and civil litigation along with criminal justice consulting. In January 2018, Mr. Connolly formed a partnership, joining Albany Investigation & Process Services, LLC.
Mr. Connolly began his career with the Albany NY Police Department in 1992. In 1995 he was promoted to detective and served in numerous investigative units within the department; in 2002 Mr. Connolly was promoted to detective sergeant and in 2006 to detective lieutenant serving as the commanding officer of one of five investigative units within the department.
With his decades of investigative experience, Mr. Connolly has worked a variety of different cases. Mr. Connolly received the 2002 Kiwanis Club of Albany’s Police Officer of the Year Award, the Albany Police Department’s Exceptional Duty Award in 2006, along with awards and recognition for work done with the US Marshals Service and well as the US Department of Justice.
Mr. Connolly holds a B.S. in Criminal Justice Administration from SUNY along with an MBA from SUNY Albany. Mr. Connolly is a volunteer member of the Board of Trustees of LaSalle School.
